Medical Advocacy and Outreach (MAO) Perspectives on Take Back, Educate, and Inundate
This session is part of NAHEWD's national webinar series Bridging HIV, HCV, and SUD: Innovations in the Field. The series will highlight various innovative models and approaches to treating substance use disorder (SUD) in people at risk for and living with HIV.

The speaker will provide information on innovative approaches to opioid prevention in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) settings. The learning objectives are:

Discuss the impact of the opioid crisis in Alabama.

List innovative approaches to prevention opioid use disorder in RWHAP clinics and AIDS Service Organizations.

Explain the benefits of implementing multi-layered prevention and intervention strategies to reduce opioid misuse amongst patients and service providers.
